UV Handstamps grow in popularity

no smoking ban

When the smoking ban was introduced in July 2007 in England, there was a need to control the re-admission of paying guests, who visit bars and clubs through out the UK.

Early re-admission stamps would include a wooden block with a die attached to the end and a separate pad with UV ink, this worked well but the large area of the ink pad caused the ink to evaporate quickly,so a better solution was found by using the self-inking stamp, This stamp had a smaller pad that could be removed to be re-inked, an improvement on the early stamp.

This year stampdesign4u have been working closely with clubs in producing the perfect re-admission stamp ,a solution has been found by using a Pre-inked stamp where the ink is held in a chamber containing a special membrane which allows the ink to flow through to the rubber die and exit only where the image is visable, this method has reduced the amount of ink lost from evaporation, resulting in many stamp impressions before refilling is required.
